Bathroom Remodel

I’m so excited to share these before and afters.  I’ve been itching to redo this bathroom (visit their website for the best bathroom services) since we bought the house and I’m so pleased with how well it turned out thanks to much hard work from my husband and his illustrious father.

BEFORE:

The carpet was removed after the toilet overflowed while I was out of town.  I removed the tile in preparation for the remodel.  (Also notice the before light fixture):

I have several more process pictures, but I don’t want to take the time to find them, so let’s just jump right to the after picture:

Zach wanted no counter space that could become cluttered, so we choose to hang the sinks.  We replaced the one terrible light fixture with two on the walls and one over the toilet.

The cabinet has shelves with containers for each child.  I will eventually hang that wire basket on the wall between the sink and the toilet so that the children can place their container in the basket while they’re using it.  My kids are still too young to need much in a bathroom so the containers are currently all empty and I haven’t been in a hurry to hang the basket.

We hung the original mirror on the wall opposite the sinks.  The board is a placeholder because I forgot to install the door stopper before taking pictures.  Eventually we will also replace the ugly brown door.  Almost all the internal doors in my house are on my mental list of things I want to replace.
