Ila’s belly button

Ila loves her belly button.  8.15.12 Playing Outside (15)

You don’t have to ask twice for her to show it off.8.15.12 Playing Outside (14)She plays with her belly button often, especially if she’s tired or nervous.  She plays with her belly button if she’s watching a movie and usually at some point while she’s eating.  I had to stop putting her in onesies when she was younger because she’d get very upset if she couldn’t get to her belly button.  Footie PJs were also a problem for the same reason.  Sometimes when she insisted on wearing footie pajamas, we’d have to leave the zipper most of the way down so she could get to her belly button.8.22.12 Playing Outside (13)8.22.12 Playing Outside (14)8.22.12 Playing Outside (26)(Belly button related side note:  Isaac is the only one of my kids with an outie.  One day he noticed Thomas’s belly button and asked me why Thomas had a “girl belly button.”  I had to inform him that belly buttons were not part of the gender differences between girls and boys.)
